How to Change the Wi-Fi Network Name of a Blink Camera

If you’re having problems connecting to your Blink camera, you may want to change the Wi-Fi network name to make it easier to connect. You can also reboot your router to get a better signal and reset your camera if it has a bad signal. Then you can follow these steps to change the name of your wifi network.

Wi-Fi network name

The Wi-Fi network name of your Blink camera will determine how it connects to the internet. This name can change if you change your home router or change internet providers. Before you can change the name of your network, make sure that you have a good signal strength. Next, open the Blink app on your phone and open the settings tab. Scroll down to the Network section and select the network name you want for your Blink camera.

Sometimes your Blink camera will have trouble connecting to your network. If you can’t find the network name, try restarting your router or rebooting your camera. Otherwise, you may need to contact customer support to get your camera working again.

Rebooting the router to reconnect to the camera

You may encounter an error message on the Blink security system if the camera is not able to connect to the router. This can be caused by dead batteries or even a faulty WiFi connection in your home. Luckily, these errors are usually easy to fix. Most of the time, the problem lies in a bad wireless connection between the camera and the router. If this is the case, you may need to move the camera closer to the router or Sync Module. It may also be necessary to restart the router.

If you cannot reconnect to the camera, the first option is to reboot your router. You can do this by pressing the button on the router or unplugging it for a few minutes. After the router has rebooted, the camera should be able to reconnect to the router. You can also try moving the Sync Module to a different location on your home network. If this doesn’t work, try connecting the camera to a USB power adapter to power it without batteries.

Resetting the camera to get a better signal

If you’re having trouble getting your indoor security camera to connect to Wi-Fi, try resetting the camera. This should help you get a better signal. To do this, place the camera near a Wi-Fi router. It should also be powered on and in a location with good Wi-Fi coverage.

If the camera does not get a strong signal, try moving it closer to the router. If this doesn’t fix the problem, try power cycling the router. Also, try turning off unused devices that might be disrupting the signal. In some cases, the camera will automatically adjust itself to a stronger WI-FI signal.

Changing the Wi-Fi network name

You might want to change the Wi-Fi network name of your Blink camera if you have changed your home router. Changing this information can affect your Blink camera and the settings you set in it. To make the changes, you’ll need to access your Wi-Fi extender settings.

To begin changing the name of your Blink camera’s wireless network, first, go into your Blink account. Go to Settings > Sync Module > Change Wi-Fi Network. After this, you should reset the Blink camera with a paperclip. Once it’s reset, the camera will flash solid green and will ask you to join the new network.

To change the name of your Wi-Fi network, follow these instructions: Make sure you have a stable signal and you have the correct LAN/Wi-Fi password for the camera. After completing these steps, you should see a new solid green LED on the device. You can then program the new wireless information into the device.

Changing the network name on the Sync Module

If your Blink Sync Module is having connectivity issues, you may need to change the network name. To do this, you will need to open the Blink app and navigate to the Network section. Then, click the Change network name button to specify a new name for your network.

First, make sure that your router is connected to the internet. This will make it easy to connect to the Sync Module. If your device is not connecting to the internet, you will need to reconnect to it to regain internet connection. Next, click the “Connect” button on the right side of the Reset button. The Reset button is located in a recess on the side of the Sync Module case.

After connecting to the internet, open the Blink app on your Smartphone. On the Home screen, you will need to tap the “setting” icon. In the bottom row, tap “System settings”. Next, select “Sync Module.” Tap the “Sync Module” button. This will bring up the status screen of your Sync Module. Once the device is in this state, you should be prompted to join the Wi-Fi network.
